You might be surprised, but we are not businessmen

You might be surprised, but we are not businessmen, builders, or investors. Not even wealthy, by any means.

So who are we?

The kind of people patient enough to search for the perfect land for three years and bold enough to sell our only house to fund a dream.

But that’s not the whole story. We turned out to be strong enough to fight for land rights for three years and wait six years to build.

For eight years, we’ve been leading retreats across Asia. But one day, we asked our community for support. We needed funds to build one-of-a-kind retreat center and freediving hub on wonderful yet little-known Sumbawa.

Crazy? Yes. Real? Absolutely. Crowdinvesting.

We reached out, asked for help, and here we are — building Ocean Mantra with our invest Angels and Indonesian hearts.

Sacred spirals on our pathways 𖦹

Sometimes the universe whispers its secrets through the most unexpected synchronicities.

Our nautilus symbol, drawn in cross-section, mysteriously echoes the sacred shaligrams — those mystical fossilized ammonites still discovered in Nepal’s high mountain rivers.

As construction progressed to pathways, we experimented: local stones didn’t work, concrete felt wrong. We found perfect natural stones, but the design kept whispering for something more. Then one evening, inspiration struck like lightning — why not imprint our nautilus symbol into the pathways themselves?

And so our Ocean Mantra Village walks became living shaligrams, carrying messages of the sea’s most ancient gifts. Natural stone pathways now bear spiral blessings, connecting earth and cosmos with every step.

The spiral always finds its way home. 🐚

When we began looking for the perfect spot for our

When we began looking for the perfect spot for our retreat, our wish list was almost too ambitious. We wanted deep waters for freediving, gentle seas free from strong currents for underwater meditation, and a picturesque beach as a signature postcard for our dream. But secretly — very secretly — we also longed for a vibrant underwater world, rich in colorful corals. Knowing how fragile reefs are globally, this seemed like an impossible wish.

After three years of relentless searching, the impossible happened. We found land that had it all: calm waters, ideal depths close to shore, breathtaking beaches, and — beyond our wildest dreams — a living coral reef just meters from the shoreline. It was vibrant, alive, and bursting with color and marine life: curious fish, graceful rays, visiting mantas, and even migrating whales passing by on their journeys.

We realized then that this underwater treasure was more than a gift — it was our responsibility. And so, we’ve crowned ourselves (and invite you to join us) as сoral warriors. Together, let’s protect and cherish this rare ocean jewelry, ensuring it thrives for generations to come.
